Biotechnology

What is biotechnology? The Biotechnology Innovation Organization, or BIO, states that "biotechnology harnesses cellular and biomolecular processes to develop technologies and products that help improve our lives and the health of our planet." Using this definition, applications for biotechnology are broad from agriculture to medicine, energy production, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, and bioremediation (or environmental clean-up).

Biotechnology Certificates and Degrees

We offer a graduated series of certificates, and after completing the first certificate – only 13 units! – we will help you find employment (if you wish) while you complete further certification.
