First Time College Student
Timeline for New Students Starting Summer/Fall 2022
- Apply for Admission for Summer/Fall online!
- Summer/Fall application opens October 1
- Make sure to include your social security number (if you have one) on your application to avoid issues with financial aid and/or residency misclassification
- Receive your Student ID Number and login information in 1-2 business days. Check your email!
- Financial Aid applications also open October 1
- Login to your Student Portal, Mycollege.LACCD.edu and set up your password
- Apply online for LA College Promise! Make sure to review all application requirements
- If you haven’t yet, Apply for Admission online!

- Deadline to complete Orientation and Educational Plan for Fall priority registration is April 30
- Visit Financial Aid Office for Virtual Workshops or attend the FAFSA Jamboree to start/complete Financial Aid application

- March 2 is the Cal Grant application deadline

- Create an Educational Plan with an LA Mission College counselor

HS College Prep Days– Saturday events for prospective students and families
HS Senior Days (TBA) – A spring event for incoming LA Mission College Students College freshmen and families
- A student success event that guarantees completion of the registration process. Students:
- Complete an Education Plan through a counseling session.
- Commit to enrolling in three classes, including Math, English, and a personal development course.
- Receive PRIORITY REGISTRATION.
Orientations will be hosted beginning March. Check the upcoming events page for days and to sign up!

Mycollege.LACCD.edu is the online portal for Los Angeles Mssion College students.
Once logged in, students can view their Registration Appointment, register for classes, add/drop classes, pay fees, purchase a parking permit, check their financial aid status, make a counseling appointment, or complete the new student orientation.
