Los Angeles Mission College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, 428 J Street, Suite 400, Sacramento, CA 95814, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. LAMC 2023 Self Evaluation Report (ISER)

LAMC is currently involved in another regular cycle of accreditation review which will be completed in spring 2023. The College has completed its self-evaluation report for the Commission, received local and District approval, and submitted the ISER to the ACCJC; it is currently under review by the visitation team. (The College is currently preparing a version for posting on this website. Following ADA review, it will be posted on this site.)
There is a virtual open forum with the visitation team scheduled for Sept. 28 from 12:30-1:30.
All employees, students, and community members are welcome to meet the team and hear about the accreditation process.

On October 3, the Visitation Team will contact the College with any requests they have for further information and evidence. The College will host a Focused Site Visit by the visitation team from February 27 – March 3 of 2023, after which the Visitation Team will complete its report and submit it to the ACCJC. Finally, the ACCJC will share its response (based on the visitation team’s report) with the College in June 2023.
