Apply for Aid

Depending on your background and the type of aid you are seeking, there may be additional steps and applications you need to complete. Make sure to contact our office to explore all of your options.

The steps below can help you initiate the process for the most common types of aid:

  1. If you are a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an eligible non-citizen, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Application OR
  2. If you are an AB540 student, sometimes referred to as a DACA student or Dreamer, complete the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
  3. If you are interested in only having your enrollment fees waived, complete the California College Promise Grant (CCPG) application (formerly known as the Board of Governor’s (BOG) Fee Waiver application).  Please note that if you complete either the FAFSA or Dream Act application you may skip this application as we will automatically evaluate you for this waiver. The CCPG will not cover any other educational expenses.
  4. Apply for one of L.A. Mission College's many scholarships
