Services By Appointment

Students must make an appointment to see a counselor for the following services:

  • Academic Dismissal Contract

  • Comprehensive Student Educational Plan (CSEP)

  • CSU/IGETC Certification (For classes taken within and outside LACCD)

  • Graduation Petition

  • Apply for Department Certificates​

  • Financial Aid Extension

  • Loss of BOG

  • Transcript Evaluation

About Counseling Appointments

Counseling appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. New dates for appointments become available every business day, and we encourage you to check the scheduling system (by clicking the link below) early in the morning to increase your chances of finding an available time to meet with a counselor.

When selecting an appointment type, you have the option of choosing an in-person, telephone, or video appointment. If selecting between video and telephone appointments, video meetings are preferred because the counselor will be able to share his/her screen with you so you can view the documents that are being reviewed. With telephone meetings, the counselor cannot share his/her screen with you, which makes it more limiting and challenging to relay the information you need. As such, you will have the most optimal experience with video meetings.

*For telephone appointments, your counselor will call you at the designated start time of the appointment.

Managing Scheduled Appointments

After your online meeting is created, a confirmation email will be generated and sent instantly. This email provides direct links for accessing, rescheduling, & canceling your appointment.

If you have never created an account on Cranium, please follow the instructions below after clicking the appointment link:

  • After reading and agreeing to the consent, click on the Canvas button and sign in with your School Credentials through the Student Information System.
    • If it doesn't work, then create an account as a guest.
  • If you create a guest account, before you sign in for the first time, you need to go to your email inbox, look for a message from "Los Angeles Mission College - ConexEd Welcome," and follow the link to confirm your email address.

  • If you are part of any of the following programs below, you can also request counseling appointments with them.
