Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) is ready to help support formerly incarcerated individuals transition into college to pursue their educational goal.

LAMC provides classes through various modalities (online, hybrid and in-person) as well as support services through our College Culture Re-Entry Hub to help with navigating the Community College system, support reintegration and explore career pathways to prepare students.

All support is confidential.

Use this checklist to get started:

  • Find your local Community College
  • Complete your College Application
  • Apply for Financial Aid
  • Attend the College Orientation (online or in person)
  • Set your Educational Plan with an Academic Counselor
  • Enroll in your classes
  • Log into your Student Portal

We are here to help connect you with the resources needed, both on- and off-campus, including:
