Applications are NOW available for the position of Student Trustee with the Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees.
Applications may be obtained through the ASO Office or the Office of the Vice President of Student Services. Students interested in running for the office of Student Trustee must complete and return an application to the office of the Vice President of Student Services or the ASO Advisor.

In accordance with Board Rule 21000, candidates for Student Trustee must:
Be currently enrolled and in good academic standing (not on academic or progress probation) at one or more colleges within the LACCD.
Be currently enrolled in at least five units.
Have completed a minimum of twelve units within the LACCD and a maximum of eighty transferable units of college within the LACCD.

The Associated Student Organization was established to provide students the opportunity for participation in student leadership and the development of skills in this area. The objectives of the ASO are: to advocate for the rights and needs of all LAMC students and to address any concerns and/or issues thereof; to support, raise awareness of, and promote cultural sensitivity and diversity; and to promote educational opportunities contributive to a successful college experience (student services, educational events, and other beneficial programs). The ASO votes on issues relating to Los Angeles Mission College and the student body.
During the semester, the Associated Student Organization meets every Friday @5:30 in the ASO Conference Room #2 (former math lab), located in the lower level Campus Center.
