PHOTO EXHIBIT
COMES TO MISSION COLLEGE
The history
of Southern California as recorded by photographers for La Opinión
newspaper is on display at Los Angeles Mission College through March
8. The traveling exhibition helps mark the 75th anniversary of the
nation's largest Spanish language daily newspaper. Mission College
is proud to host the exhibition's only appearance in the San Fernando
Valley during a four-week run at the college's campus in Sylmar.

The photo exhibition
covers three main themes:
· Southern
California's Latino community, its evolution and its progress as
reflected by its leaders, its causes, its struggles, and its daily
life.
· Prominent human events that have occurred and have been
covered by La Opinión.
· La Opinión, its growth and evolution as seen through
its founding family, changes that have been brought about by the
modern age and technology, and individuals who have contributed
to the paper's mission.
