The counseling office provides assistance with school and career goals for students. All students are strongly urged to make an appointment with a counselor prior to registering for classes for the purpose of arranging a study program . Counselors can assist students with college transfer requirements, career planning, and personal concerns. To schedule a day or evening appointment, contact the Counseling Office at the phone number below.

  • Information on Graduation Requirements (Plan A, Plan B, Transfer Plan)-degrees and certificates.
  • A link to the website of The Transfer Center - a resource full of information for students beginning their college education here at Mission, then planning to transfer to a four-year university.
  • A link to the website of The Assessment Center - The Assessment Center tests students Math and English abilities.

(In between Financial Aid and Admissions & Records).


The Counseling Office will be operating on an appointment and walk-in basis

for the remainder of the Spring semester.  Educational Plans, Graduation Petitions and CSU or IGETC Certifications will require an appointment.

Monday-Thursday     8:00am to 7:00pm
Friday                     8:00am to 1:00pm


For other questions, Dropin Counseling is available as follows:
Monday                   11:30 to 7:00pm
Tuesday                  1:00 to 7:00pm
Wednesday              4:30 to 7:00pm
Thursday                 4:00 to 7:00pm

ATTENTION: During registration and graduation petition periods, our office hours change.
