Institution-Set Standards: LAMC has institutionalized a process for the development, analysis, and updating of a set of standards for student achievement that are appropriate to its mission. Standards, and additionally stretch goals, have been set for the following student achievement outcome measures: successful course completion; course retention; degree completion; certificate completion; transfer; licensure examination passage rates; and Career and Technical Education (CTE) employment rates. The standards and stretch goals are set based on evaluation and analysis of historical and current performance data.

DataVista is designed to inspire a greater understanding of student achievement, build understanding about student outcomes, and provide information to support evidence-based decision making at schools, colleges and within the state.
