Students Can Earn $150 for Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine

Students from the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) who get vaccinated against COVID-19 can receive up to $150 thanks to a partnership between the Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges and Kaiser Permanente.

All LACCD students with a valid vaccination card dated on or after June 16, 2021 can apply for the $75 districtwide incentive. If a student brings a friend or family member to get vaccinated, they can receive a maximum of $150, until all funds are used. LACCD students must apply to the Foundation via the LACCD student portal with the “Kaiser Max the Vax” link.

In addition to college-sponsored clinics, hundreds of conveniently located community sites offering free COVID-19 vaccinations can be found at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health website. Certain sites within the county are also designated as the participating locations for the county’s Vaccination Sweepstakes program.
