Dear Multimedia Industry Business,
As part of the Los Angeles Multimedia Entertainment Digital Arts Education Collaborative
we are hosting a High School and College Film and Video Festival, the 6th Annual Carless Drive-In.
This year we are fortunate enough to have a grant which will provide for most of our costs,
such as jurors, rental fees, printing and advertising. Yet, our grant can not provide for prizes for
the winners in each category; which includes the “Best” in Animation, Documentary, Music,
Narrative and Abstract. Through this Film and Video Festival we are providing a showcase
opportunity and developing pathways for high school and College students to continue their
education in multimedia and eventually enter into a career in the creative industries.
