Federal Work-Study Application Deadline

Earn Where You Learn!

Starting Monday, June 30th at 9 am, LAMC students can add their name to the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Interest List to become a part-time student worker on campus. The list will close on Sunday, July 6th at 6 pm, so don’t miss your chance!

Here’s what you need to know to apply:

• You must complete your 2025–2026 FAFSA by Friday, June 27th and have Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) listed as your Home School.

• When the Interest List opens, log in to your Student Portal at mycollege.laccd.edu.

• Click on the Financial Aid icon to find the link to the Interest List.

• You will also need to meet all academic progress standards and be enrolled in 6 or more units for Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026.

Students will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis after the list closes, so we strongly encourage you to submit your name as soon as the list opens to improve your chances.
