VITA Tax Service Clinic

FREE Tax Services for those that qualify.
Los Angeles Mission College has partnered with California State University Northridge's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic to provide free tax return services to our students and community.
If you made under $67,000 in 2024, our professionally trained volunteers can prepare and electronically file your federal and state income tax returns. You may also qualify for the Federal and California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC).
VITA clinics will be held every Saturday from February 22 through April 5 from 9:15 am to 2:30 pm, with a special last chance event on April 15th. Please see below for full details.
No appointment is needed, walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This free service is open to the public.
What To Bring:
- Proof of identification for yourself and, if married, your spouse. Both spouses must be present.
- Social Security cards or individual taxpayer identification cards (ITIN) or IRS notices for all taxpayers listed on the return.
- Birthdates for you, your spouse, and any dependents on the return.
- All W-2, 1099, and 1098 forms.
- Deduction and credit information.
- Total daycare payments and provider's tax ID.
- Forms 1095-A, 1095-B, 1095-C when applicable.
- Last year’s tax return, if available.
- Direct Deposit Information.
