BioscienceLA Week Set to Launch at Los Angeles Mission College
BioscienceLA Week is a four-day, county-wide celebration of the collective progress in advancing the bioscience ecosystem in Los Angeles. The kickoff event, focused on Biomanufacturing, will be hosted at Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) on Tuesday, October 15th.
Biomanufacturing talent is one of the County’s greatest competitive advantages, playing a key role in the production of cutting-edge therapeutics and medical devices. Attendees will explore programs, resources, and career opportunities in the bioscience industry while engaging with some of the County’s largest employers through panel discussions and a career fair.
LAMC College President Armida Ornelas, Ph.D., and LAMC Biotechnology Program Director Chander Arora, Ph.D. are scheduled to present in the morning and afternoon, respectively.
Educators, administrators, career counselors, and students are all encouraged to attend. Event registration is required.
