GED® Preparation

We offer free GED preparation classes in Eng­lish and Spanish. We prepare you for the GED exam by offering courses in four areas: Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Literature.  These are the same areas that you will be tested on during the GED exam. 
 
A GED meets the same standard as a high school diploma.  Either are required to be eligible for all federal and most state financial aid.  Only the California College Promise Grant (CCPG), formerly known as the Board of Governors (BOG) fee waiver, does not specifically require a high school diploma or GED.  Getting your GED certificate can make a big difference in your ability to get and keep a job.
