Library Databases

Books, periodicals, online databases, reference materials, and information from the Internet--the tools you need to succeed are all available in the Library. One of the reference librarians will help you find the information you need.

Accessing the Databases

If you are a student who currently enrolled this term, you can access the databases below when you're off-campus.
Click the requested database and login with your student ID number and PIN. Your PIN is a four-digit number of your birth month and day. For example, January 1st would be "0101".  


EBSCOhost Databases (Ebsco)

A scholarly, multi-disciplinary database providing scholarly artices for thousands of journals and other publications, including full-text access to peer-reviewed journals.

Academic OneFile

Quickly access articles from a database of scholarly journals and other trusted periodicals. Best for academic research. Includes podcasts from news agencies.

Gale In Context: College (Gale)

Access a wide array of multidisciplinary content by searching scholarly journals, newspapers, periodicals, images, and videos. Focused on subjects college students often research.

Informe Académico   (Gale)

Search across full-text Spanish- and Portuguese-language scholarly journals and magazines from and about Latin America. Allows researchers to analyze topics and conduct research in Spanish.

Popular Magazines   (Gale)

Access the most searched magazines across Gale OneFile focusing on current events, sports, science, and health issues.


US Newsstream

Enables users to search current U.S. news content, as well as archives that stretch back into the 1980s. It features top newspapers, wires, broadcast transcripts, blogs and news sites in full-text format. 

Newspaper Source Plus (Ebsco)

Collection of the world's major news content, including millions of articles from newspapers, newswires, and news magazines. In addition, it offers television and radio transcripts and ongoing daily updates from popular news sources.

News (Gale)

Access major U.S. and international newspapers online to search articles instantly by title, headline, date, or other fields. News also includes thousands of images, radio, and TV broadcasts, and transcripts.


eBook Collection

Full-text electronic books (eBooks) with search & print features. Contains over 250,000 academic titles to use for research. App available to download books to phones and tablets.

Gale eBooks

Explore this database of encyclopedias and reference sources within the Gale eBooks platform. For multidisciplinary research. Great place to find basic information on your topic.
