The Campus Book committee is headed by the Library. Members of the LAMC community, including students, faculty, staff, and administrators, are encouraged to read a common book throughout the semester and to participate in campus-wide, thematically-integrated activities. Our Campus Book program uses literature that raises awareness around issues related to Student Equity. Having many of our students and staff read the same book provides an increased sense of community and promotes literacy outside the classroom.

If you are interested in becoming a member of this committee, we meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:30 pm in the Academic Senate Office.
Please contact Ashley Sparks at for more information.
