Welcome to my web page!

It is such a pleasure to serve as a full-time faculty member in our newly established Child Development Department. Beginning on Monday, March 1, 2010, I will be on leave until the end of the semester. You may e-mail me at ruelasja@lamission.edu if you need to contact me. I plan to return for Summer and Fall classes.

The Chair of our Department is Ms. Lilamani de Silva, who also teaches and works full-time at Mission College. I have been at Mission College for 17 years. Last year we moved into our new Center for Child Development Studies. My office is located on the second floor in room 210. Most of our Child Development classes are held on the second floor of this building. Downstairs is our lovely Child Development Center, which offers child care for children of all ages - from infants to school age children.
