Hello everyone. I had four papers recently that I thought were good examples for Level 3 A. I typed them up and corrected some minor errors. I didn't put your names on them in case anyone is shy, (but I will add them if you like!) Please take a look at some of your classmates' work.
Student paragraphs from May 2012, ESL
are three types of neighbors. First, there are neighbors who make a
lot of noise. For example, it is already one o'clock in the morning,
but they are still listening to loud music and talking loudly. They
never pay attention to your complaints. Second, there are friendly
neighbors. For instance, when you see them, they always smile and
say hello to you. There are friendly neighbors who can be very good
friends to you. You can share your happy and bad days with them.
Finally, there are neighbors who complain about you all the time. For
example, when you have people over, and it is not even 10 p.m., they
still call the police. Sometimes they don't like the way that you
park your car. People like that are annoying. Everybody has their
own opinion about their neighbor. Everyone has to have their own way
to treat their neighbor.
are three types of friends. First of all, I want to write about
friends who you can trust or let know about your life secrets. Those
friends usually grow up with you, or you know them for many years.
For example, I have two friends who I have known from the first day
of our lives, and we are still very close. Second, there are some
friends who you meet at school or work or anywhere, but you can't
trust them like old friends who you've known for a long time. They
could become best friends too, but for me that takes a long time.
Last of all, there are some friends who don't care about anything.
They just show up whenever they need you or they want something from
you. Finally, in my opinion. it's good if you have a lot of friends,
but you have to choose people as a friend. I have a lot of friends
who I chose, and I like all of them.
are three types of neighbors. First, some neighbors are very good
because they help me every time. Their children never play outside,
and they don't have any pets. The neighbors who live near me are
very generous. Second, the neigbhors who live near my friend are
very bad. For example, every day young children play in the yard.
They don't put their trash in the trash can. They usually fight with
the manager. Finally, I can't believe that they will change their
behavior. My friend who lives in this apartment will leave it. For
these reasons, I recommend you ask about the neighbors before you
are three types of friends. First of all, there are friends who are
your best friends and always care about you. You have contact with
them every day or every week. For example, there are friends who you
work with. There are workmates who you visit every day, and you talk
with them about your life, your problems, and happiness. You listen
to their stories about their life and try to help them if it is
possible. For instance, there are some friends who are always with
you everywhere. Second, there are some friends who only think about
your money. For example, I have some friends who come to my house
many times. When I want to go to their house, they say, "Oh,
you know what? I have to go somewhere else." Finally, there are
some friends who you have only in your phone or facebook. Some of my
classmates from last semester never call me or answer my phone calls.
For example, my level one classmate who traveled to Iran never
called me back. In my opinion, friends should be close and contact
their other friends sometimes. Friends are part of life, and they
can make happiness for each other.
