How to start a paper

Here are a few suggestions for paper topics and how to start a paper:
* Select one of the assigned readings.
* Re-read your journal responses.
* Did you see something that you can take issue with?
* Did some issue or argument present itself from what you read?
THAT is the content of your papers. Remember how we went around the class and discussed "issues" about various subjects?

OR you can come up with a paper topic of your own.
All papers should have at least one outside source to support your assertions.
Discuss
Three topics in the introduction in a general way
Then use all three of them as “subtopics” in your thesis statements
OR
Use just one of those topics and break it down into three subtopics and use those subtopics as part of your thesis statement.
Then
In each body paragraph discuss each subtopic, separately and go deeper into the discussion about that particular subtopic
