Welcome to LAMC Life Sciences. I am the technician that prepares the labs for the
students taking Biology, Anatomy, Microbiology, and Physiology. I take pride in trying to
put out all the supplies needed for each lab in an organized and useful way to optimize
the learning experiences in the labs.
My very favorite lab to set up is the Flower and Fruit Lab in Bio 3. Although difficult and
time consuming to put together, my reward is that students acquire a deeper appreciation
of plants and their roles as food providers for all. The complex interaction between plants
and different animals and environmental factors allows the flowers to be pollenated and
fruits to be produced that fill our tables, refrigerators, stores, and gardens.
