CSU/UC Certification
CSU & IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) for UC/CSU Certification is available to community college transfer students who satisfy the general education requirements in each area.
“Certification”
Means that LAMC has verified that a student has completed the lower division General Education requirements listed in each area of the CSU or the IGETC. Partial Certification is also available. Certification does not guarantee admission or admission eligibility. Without certification, the student will be held to the specific general education requirements of the UC/CSU campus of choice. CSU & IGETC Certification is not automatic. Make an appointment with the LA Mission General Counseling Department to Petition for CSU or IGETC Certification.
