TECH PREP DISTRIBUTION POINTS PROJECT

The LAMC Tech Prep Distribution Points Project is the lead agency for the Los Angeles and Orange County region. The project is funded through the California Department of Education for the Industry Sector focus of Fashion and Interior Design, Hospitality and the Arts. The Distribution Points project provides training for standards and framework strategies for the Tech Prep targeted used projects, fifteen industry sector projects as well as ten innovative practice projects and the California State Standards. The Distribution Points will provide industry sector and subject area content information, training, resources, and project distribution across the local consortium regional areas and overall state wide dissemination activities to decrease duplication and increase efficiency and effectiveness of new articulated career paths. The Distribution Points will collect and provide Tech Prep Industry Sector and subject area strategies and resources to enhance the outstanding Practices Clearinghouse.
