Disbursements

All check disbursements at the Business Office require a valid state issued Identification Card to be present at the time of pick up. Students who may have to pick up financial aid checks at the Business Office will need a release letter issued by the Financial Aid Office. Otherwise, financial aid checks are sent by mail or disbursed through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). All other information regarding Financial Aid awards and check disbursements should be directed to the Financial Aid Office and/or can be obtained on-line through www.lamission.edu/financialaid/ and www.laccd.edu/student_information/sis_logon.asp or may refer to the 2007-2008 Los Angeles Mission College Catalog on pages 20-26.

Requests for Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) service can be made at the Business Office by completing the EFT Authorization form and submission of a voided check (temporary checks are not accepted) if funds are to be directed to a checking account. A copy of the latest original bank statement is required to be presented with the completed EFT authorization form if funds are to be directed to a savings account.

Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) authorization forms are available only at the Business Office during regular business hours. It takes between 4-6 weeks to set up EFT between banks and the district office.
