MISSION COLLEGE INVITES PUBLIC,
EMPLOYERS TO SPRING JOB FAIR

Nearly 30 employers representing finance and banking, government agencies, law enforcement and security, the health care industry and community organizations, will take part in Los Angeles Mission College's spring Job Fair on April 30.

The public is invited to attend the event, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the college's Campus Center.

Businesses interested in participating may do so by contacting Ellen Voyce, coordinator of the college's Job Placement Services unit, at (818) 833-3599. Employers must register in advance. There is a registration fee.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for Mission College students and members of the northeast San Fernando Valley community to connect with potential employers. Employers who participate generally are recruiting future employees, or are searching for immediate full-time or part-time workers.

Students and job seekers alike should bring copies of their resumes to give to employers.

As part of the event, Mission College will offer workshops on resume writing and interviewing techniques.

Mission College is located at 13356 Eldridge Avenue in Sylmar.
