Posted on: 11/14/2017

More than 350 students met with faculty and staff to learn about the various majors, degrees and programs available at Los Angeles Mission College during the Major Fair on Friday in the Campus Center.

Students from San Fernando, Sylmar and Monroe high schools were able to attend thanks to buses provided by Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, and current students who were undecided were able to learn more about career paths available with certain majors.

Claudia Ramirez who is the coordinator of the Career Center, said the purpose of the event was for students to discover a major they're excited about, and make informed decisions.
