NUTRITION EXPERT TO SPEAK AT
LOS ANGELES MISSION COLLEGE

Dr. Michael Hirt, director of Integrative Medicine Programming at Encino-Tarzana Hospital and assistant clinical professor at UCLA, will discuss nutrition and obesity during a guest lecture at Los Angeles Mission College.

Dr. Hirt, a co-founder and chief medical officer of MyBestHealth, Inc., will speak at the Sylmar community college campus on March 28 at 3 p.m. The public is invited and there is no admission fee.

As a member of the UCLA Clinical Faculty, Dr. Hirt teaches nutrition to medical students and residents. He has long held the belief that nutrition greatly impacts the ability of the body to fight disease and achieve optimal health.

Dr. Hirt obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine training while conducting medical research at UCLA. He then pursued specialty training at UCLA’s prestigious Center for Human Nutrition, and he is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nutrition.

Dr. Hirt’s address will culminate Nutrition Awareness Week at Mission College.
