Mission College students and staff acquitted themselves well at the recent Culinary Challenge in Las Vegas. They captured three silver and nine bronze medals in various competitive categories. Chef Jesus Sanchez, Manuel Padilla, and Connie Vasquez each captured a silver medal. Vasquez also walked away with a "best in show" award. Bronze medals went to Chef Rudy Garcia, Taylor Lloyd, Julio Quequezana, Tina Mendoza, Lorianne Owen, Ramiro Villegas, Scott Lim, Harout Hadjinian, and Devaki Vasquez.
