FIRST DAY SPRING SEMESTER 2006 Spring
semester got underway at Mission College on February 6,
with enrollment just slightly below last year's pace. In
addition to the usual challenges faced by returning and
new students - finding their classrooms, last minute enrollment,
buying books - a new wrinkle was added this semester. The
Student Parking Lot is closed for construction of a new,
modern structure. Students now park in the temporary Sayre
Lot and take a five-minute a shuttle bus to campus. All
went smoothly with the debut of the shuttle service. As
a reward for their patience, students were treated to a
voucher good for a snack and drink.
