LAMC Scholarship Ceremony

On May 15, 2012, seventy-eight (78) scholarships were presented to students at the LAMC Scholarship Ceremony.  Speakers at the ceremony were President Monte Perez, ASO President Daniel Campos, students Elizabeth Johnson and Militza Garcia Maldonado.  Faculty members Janice Silver, Diana Bonilla, and Margie Long presented scholarships to students.  LAMC Foundation President, Jose Oliva and LAMC Foundation Vice Chair/Treasurer Albert Alvarez presented scholarships sponsored by the LAMC Foundation.  Students applied for the scholarships through the college Financial Aid Office.  Scholarship committees determined the recipients of the scholarships based on student essays, academic performance, and recommendations from faculty and staff.  Photos were taken by students Salvatore Mazariegos (SM) and Stephanie Brown (SB).
