Honor awards for the Fall 2011 semester were presented on April 12, 2012 to LAMC students who earned outstanding scholastic achievement. Awards were presented by President Monte E. Perez , Dean of Student Services Ludi Villegas-Vidal, and faculty members Janice Silver and Margie Long. Speakers at the ceremony were President Monte E. Perez, former Faculty Senate President Leslie Milke, ASO President Daniel Campos, Alpha Gamma Sigma President John Soliman, Senior Manager of Chapter Development of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Senta Harvey, and student Marine Akhparyan.
