Definitions of Hybrid and Online

Hybrid classes combine traditional “face to face” class meetings/seat time with out of class, online work.

Please consult the schedule for location and time for the mandatory “weekly” class meetings.

Online classes are completely "online" and do not require attendance "on campus". All Classwork is done "at a distance, and online" within the framework of deadlines established in the class.

Students may choose to take our paralegal program either completely "on campus" or completely "online" or a combination of both. All 12 law classes are scheduled every semester (with a combination of online &  hybrid classes). Every two semesters, all 12 classes are offered both completely "on campus" or completely "online" Students may select to do classes either on campus, or online, or both.

"increase their earnings substantially by
completing the courses needed to obtain a certificate"

Jacobson and Mokher, Pathways to Boosting Earnings

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, paralegals rank among the quickest growing professions in the U.S. economy.

Paralegals and legal assistants make an average annual income of $47,000, and over the past three years the average unemployment rate in the field has been just 3.1%. The job is also relatively low-stress, involves little contact with the public, and doesn't require employees to breathe in toxic fumes or lift loads of 50 lbs. or more
