How to Log in to Course Compass (Mathematics 125)

This course is compatible with Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

 Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer are supported.  

In order to register for the required MyMathLab online course component, you must have:

  • Valid email address
  • Course ID: LIN21346
  • Student access code (bundled with the textbook)

Where do I get a Student Access Code?

A student access code is bundled with the textbook. However, you do not need the textbook to take the class.

The access code may be purchased online from Course Compass. To purchase your access code online, follow these steps.

  1. Go to the Course Compass website
  2. Under the Students heading, click Register
  3. Click on the link to Purchase online access

Step 1. How do I register for the MyMathLab course Web site?

Before you can log on, you must first register. Go to the Course Compass Website and under Students, click on the Register button.

  1. Using the Course ID:   LIN21346
  2. and your e-mail address (You can get a free e-mail from Yahoo , GMAIL , or Hotmail)
  3. and Student access code
    1. At the prompt “ready to register”, click next and enter your access code.
    2. Your school zip code for LA Mission College: 91342
    3. Course ID:  (no spaces) LIN21346

Step 2. Where do I go to log on after I have registered for the MyMathLab course Web site?

  • Go to the Course Compass Website
  • Under Students, click on the Log In button.
  • Enter the login name and password you created during registration.
  • From the MyCourseCompass page, select the class lin05162 (no spaces).
  • Before you can do homework or take quizzes, you must download the MyMathLab Software Installation Wizard after clicking on Course Information.

Step 3. Write your Username and Password below and save this information.

  • Course Title: _____________________
  • Section number: __________________
  • Username: _______________________
  • Password: ________________________

E-mail your instructor once you have successfully logged in to the course.
