TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR OUR MEETINGS

FOR THOSE WHO ARE COMING FROM THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE:
The closest airport to OCC is John Wayne (SNA)
Airport. If you are able to fly into
John Wayne Airport, let
Dennis know and we will try to work out how to pick-up you up. Please let
Dennis know if you plan to fly into another airport, as he may be able to pick
up people at Burbank (BUR) airport, or even LAX (but PLEASE don't do this to
me!).
FOR THOSE WHO ARE COMING FROM THE
SOUTHERN PART OF THE STATE:
The campus and area maps should help guide you to campus. Melissa has
indicated that parking should not be a problem since their Fall semester doesn't
start until August 29. If you are driving to OCC, stop by the Campus
Public Safety Office (building #147, located in Parking Lot C at the Southeast
corner of campus) and let them know that you are there for a financial aid
meeting.
QUESTIONS REGARDING THE MEETING
SITE AND TRAVEL:
Please let Dennis know if you have any questions regarding travel, agenda items, etc. The
draft agenda has already been posted to the website, but it will be updated and emailed
to the committee in mid-July. Questions on the DAY OF THE MEETING can be directed to

FOR THOSE WHO ARE COMING FROM THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE STATE:
The closest airport to Glendale is Burbank (BUR)/Bob
Hope
Airport. If you are able to fly into Burbank Airport, Dennis can
arrange your pick-up and drop-off with him or another staff member. Please let
Dennis know if you anticipate traveling to our meeting at GCC by this method.
LAX (Los Angeles International
Airport) is also relatively close, but due to its location, you
currently would
need to secure shuttle pick-up/drop-ff or a rental car for your trip. If any committee member is
flying into LAX on Wednesday and can help pick up other committee members,
please let Dennis know.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE COMING FROM THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE STATE: The campus and area maps should help guide you to campus. Campus parking should be available in LOT A and LOT B. Dennis will secure parking permits for any committee members who will be traveling by car to the campus. Parking permits will then be FAXED out to members.
