Scheduled LAMC Accessibility Workshops

Designing Accessible Webpages

Accessibility encompasses good site design that will help all students, including disabled students, access your course material with greater ease. This workshop will focus on the Section 508 Website guidelines and how to apply them to Blackboard course sites as well as other class websites created by Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Some topics covered include inserting alt tags, what parts of Blackboard are and aren't accessible, and how to use the free site evaluation tools.
