Welcome to the website of the District Academic Senate. The DAS is charged by Title 5 and the California Educational Code to represent the faculty of the Los Angeles Community College District in all academic and professional matters. It is composed of four officers, nine college Senate presidents, as well as three additional representatives from each college.
