COURSE OBJECTIVE:
To provide the students with a foundational overview of the knowledge, practice, concepts and terms of the world of Finance.
ASSIGNED READING/PROBLEMS:
*	Read chapters: 1-6, 7-12, and 13-18.
*	Specific chapters are assigned before each class session.
COURSE PLAN: (Subject to modifications)
*	Required of each class associate:
	Access the Internet for any relevant or related financial information to the chapter topics; and regular attendance (ENTIRE CLASS SESSION) with preparation for class discussions based upon assigned readings. If you are absent for more than nine hours of class time, you will be excluded from the class.
*	Class session will include:
	Lecture/class discussions and students participation directed by instructor emphasizing major consideration pertaining to assigned readings.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:
*	Exams (Four) during regular semester
*	Final examination (covering all topical areas)
*	Internet assignments (plus or minus 10 points)
*	Subjective
Note: You neither take exams nor turn in Internet assignments after the scheduled class date.
CLASS-WIDE INCENTIVES:
*	90% of class associates start and complete the 15 week course (10 points)
*	80% of class associates with an overall course letter grade "C" or better (10 points)
