The Dream Resource Center (DRC) is now open to assist students in person. We will be assisting students by appointment during our office hours. The Dream Resource Center (DRC) provides a variety of support and resources to AB 540/SB 68, DACA Recipients, and all undocumented students at LAMC to ensure their success. Our staff is here to help and empower you throughout your educational journey. Our goal is to help you achieve your academic and personal aspirations and feel welcomed in our community. Now on to exciting news! We have a couple of great opportunities for students who are enrolled at LAMC and are seeking financial assistance. First, we have a grant for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) application fee. If you are enrolled at LAMC and would like assistance paying for your DACA application, please complete the interest form to receive more information. The grant is on a "first come, first serve" and space is limited. Second we have this paid internship/volunteer experience available: Do you meet all of the criteria below? Completed and submitted a California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the 2021-2022 academic year Active recipient of a Cal Grant B Award Demonstrate financial need Enrolled at least half time in a financial aid eligible program If yes, we have a new grant for which you may be eligible. The California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant (DSIG) is available for AB540 students. For information and to apply for the grant, visit www.csac.ca.gov/dsig.
