Program Philosophy
We believe that the early years provide a foundation for life-long learning.
Our program is based on the well-established belief that children learn best in a play-based learning environment that supports individual and group needs in all areas of their development.
We believe each child is capable of constructing his/her own knowledge when given the time, resources, activities and meaningful interactions that expand and extend their understanding of the world around them.
We strive to provide enriched learning experiences based on the latest research and the best practices to meet the needs of children, families, staff and college students.
Eligibility Requirements
Child Development Center (CDC) and the Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN)
As a State and Federal funded program, we adhere to all required guidelines, including:
- Families must qualify under eligibility guidelines based on need, family size and income
- Child care services are provided on a sliding scale for families, student parents, faculty and staff, and the community
- Nutritious snacks and meals are provided at no cost to the family

- We are licensed through the state of California Department of Social Services
- Infant License: 197415856
- Preschool License: 197415855
- FCCHEN provide their own license number with Enrollment

Enrollment Requirements
Service requires for college students to be enrolled in at least 12 units between 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. Monday through Friday. Families from the community are also required to have a need for child care which is determined through the application process. To enroll your child or for more information call (818) 364-7865.
The following documentation will be required:
- Proof of family gross income (before taxes)
- Employment verification or training verification.
- Identification/emergency information
- Birth Certificate
- Current tuberculosis immunization.
- Pre-admission health examination.
